Rihanna wearing Alexandre Vauthier jewelryToday Fendi launches the 3Baguette Project at the opening of their new flagship store on Madison in New York. The project involves several celebrities re-designing the new 3Baguette handbag. It was announced earlier this year that Rihanna, Sarah Jessica Parker, Rachel Feinstein, Leandra Medine and Jourdan Dunn were selected to personalise the handbag with proceeds from the auction of these bags going to charity. Rihanna actually designed two bags – the 3Baguette and a Micro Baguette – and her charity is of course, her own Clara Lionel Foundation.

The Fendi ‘F’ pattern is embroidered in black lurex on mink on the flap and back of the bag. The modern clasp is embellished with black stones.

Visit the Fendi 3Baguette Project website to view all the handbags and to bid on Rihanna’s version. The auction begins today, February 13th, and ends on March 13th. You can also view some behind the scenes video here. Rihanna is expected to attend the launch event so it will be exciting to see what she wears.
