Rihanna spent the weekend celebrating her goddaughter’s first birthday with family and friends but last night she was spotted with footballer Karim Benzema at Hooray Henry’s nightclub in Los Angeles. The singer kept it pretty lowkey in a black t-shirt dress and sandals.
Her dress features artwork by Greg Guillemin, who specialises in pop art illustrations. Guillemin is best known for his “The Secret Life of Heroes” series, which is a cheeky look at super heroes lives behind closed doors, and the art on Rihanna’s dress comes from this series. This particular piece is called the Cat Pacifier and shows DC Comics’ Catwoman sucking on a lollipop. Although I couldn’t find her exact dress online, you can purchase the white t-shirt (€40) from the artist’s website. Update: You can purchase the exact boyfriend tee on the artist’s website for €50.
She also carried her favourite Dominic Louis x Mandy Coon leather bunny backpack that is shaped like a well-used children’s toy. The bunny bag has one eye, gold hardware, a zip fastening and adjustable straps. Rih owns the only black one but you can buy the peach version below. Her jewellery included her “Fenty” nameplate necklace, MALA by Patty Rodriguez “Ride or Die” nameplate necklace and Jacquie Aiche‘s gold bunny ring.
If I find the designer behind her shoes, I will update this post. Thanks to @rinspirem on Instagram I now know that Rihanna wore Rupert Sanderson‘s Falaise sandals. She also wore Marina B‘s Kar collar choker, which is made of 18k yellow gold and white diamonds.
