Several months ago Rihanna returned home to her native country of Barbados and while there she and her mother paid a visit to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Last week the exact purpose of that trip was finally revealed on her official website. Through her Clara Lionel Foundation, Rihanna has donated new life-saving equipment to the Clara Brathwaite Centre for Oncology and Nuclear Medicine. Fans will know that the singer created this organisation and the centre in honour of her grandmother Clara “Dolly” Brathwaite who passed away from cancer a few years ago. Click here to read more about Rihanna’s donation and how it will help the people of Barbados.
Among the photos included with the press release is a shot where Rihanna is wearing a shirt dress by Moschino. Her jewellery included Jennifer Fisher‘s diamond slice choker, a MALA by Patty Rodriguez Where you from? necklace that represents her hometown of Bridgetown, and Djula‘s pavé diamond Double Line ring.
