ANTIversary Part II: Rihanna in 3×1, Vetements, and More
January 29, 2017 · Sheena
The celebrations continued across social media yesterday as Rihanna and her Navy celebrated one year since the release of ANTI. Rih blessed us with lots of behind-the-scenes photos taken during the recording sessions. These photos are from the latter half of 2015 and we’ve seen her in most of this stuff. The major exception being the Christopher Shannon denim from the first ANTIversary post. Here’s a quick roundup of the looks.
Update: she wore R13’s sold-out, oversized shearling denim jacket.
We never actually got candids of Rihanna in this Vetements hoodie but it’s no surprise that she owns it. She’s the brand’s biggest fan.
Vetements Titanic coming soon hoodie
Fenty x Puma fur slide in black
The oversized hoodie features a photo of Kate Winslet and Leonardo Dicaprio pulled from a movie poster for Titanic. The phrase “coming soon” is in bold red letters on the sleeve. Céline Dion looked amazing in this top last year. Rih completed her look with frayed jeans by Matthew Adams Dolan and Fenty x Puma‘s popular fur slides.
Next we have Rihanna in a Trapstar hat.
The black snapback cap features the Trapstar Irongate logo in white on the back and front. On the side is the brand’s skull in a helmet emblem.
In the pic above Rihanna rocks another Vetements top with her favourite shoes.
Vetements plaid wool-blend shirt
Manolo Blahnik Chaos suede sandals
This black and white buffalo plaid shirt is from the Fall/Winter 2015 collection. It boasts a quilted black lining and press-stud front closure. The jeans are the same Matthew Adams Dolan ones mentioned earlier while her shoes are Manolo Blahnik‘s Chaos sandal. Check out the black patent version here ($725).
Rihanna looks so at peace in this photo. She wore another item by Trapstar.
This is the brand’s Irongate base tee and she’s had it for years. It features their Irongate logo along the hem.
Kanye West was probably the first person to wear this Vetements hoodie but Rihanna loves it just as much as he does.
Like most pieces from the design collective, it boasts an oversized fit and elongated sleeves. On the front is the brand’s logo and a kangaroo pocket.
Finally, we’ve got Rihanna standing in the foyer of the Malibu house where she did most of the recording. This look includes Vetements as well.
Vetements oversized nylon bomber jacket
Hyein Seo – School Kills white t-shirt
This Vetements bomber jacket is completely reversible. You can rock it on either the green or orange side. It has a pocket on one sleeve and pockets on the front. Her “School Kills” t-shirt is by emerging designer Hyein Seo (remember when Rih wore this in NYC) and of course, the shoes are Fenty x Puma.
