Rihanna wearing DYLANLEX Tess, Ace, Leo, Kora and Jett ringsWhile I’m still working on tracking down Rihanna’s coat, I couldn’t resist posting about her look from last night because of the rings. Rih hit up a studio last night and it’s being reported that it was a video shoot. Later Kanye West was seen leaving the building and we can only guess what they were up to. The Bajan singer arrived and left in some intricate, oxidised silver-plated rings by DYLANLEX. You may recall that she wore a few of their necklaces earlier this year (click here and here for a refresher).

The brand has a cult following on Instagram and designer Drew Ginsburg added rings to the collection fairly recently. Of these, I can definitely see that Rihanna wore the Kora, Ace, Leo, Jett, and Tess rings but you should check out the entire selection. You can also spot her Kentshire diamond estate necklace.

Rihanna wearing Jean Paul Gaultier vintage sunglasses, Balmain Pierre tote handbag, Maison Martin Margiela burnished lace-up ankle bootsNow let’s talk about what she wore to the studio. In addition to the DYLANLEX rings, Rihanna wore a coat by Chanel. The purple coat is made of the same metallic material used in the Pre-Fall 2015 collection – see look 7 and look 43. Rihanna’s version is much more detailed with beading along the pockets and sailor collar. She also rocked vintage sunglasses by Jean Paul Gaultier. Rih first wore these shades during a trip to Barbados in December 2013. The sunglasses are black with industrial detail at the temples.

She carried Balmain‘s Pierre tote, which was designed in collaboration with Aurelie Bidermann. The bag has an adjustable shoulder strap, top handles and is adorned with a white tusk. Finally, her boots are Maison Martin Margiela‘s black burnished, lace-up ankle boots. FYI: The can in her hand is a Barbadian sports drink called Plus and it’s delicious.

Rihanna wearing army jungle combat boots with panama soleRihanna was later photographed in actual combat boots (Kanye was also wearing a pair). They are several brands that make military boots but the closest to her’s I could find are the Wellco jungle combat boots in tan. While researching for this post, I learned that all soles are not equal when it comes to army boots. These leather boots have a panama sole, mesh panels and drainage vents. Shop the look below.
