Rihanna surprised everyone at Drake’s OVO Fest on Sunday when she appeared wearing a killer Fengchen Wang coat. She joined him again last night for another memorable performance. Jahleel Weaver styled Rihanna once more for the show and here’s what she wore.
Rihanna used the show as another opportunity to support some up-and-coming designers. Her top is from Fortie Label, a womenswear label headed by Essie Buckman. This is their Katja bustier and it features voluminous sleeves, a ribbed neckline and hem as well as crystal detail. Rihanna also wore their buckled crystal choker created in collaboration with Alexandra Hakim. Sophie Hardeman designed the denim cut off shorts. Hardeman’s line was part of VFILES‘ Fall/Winter 2016 collection (beginning at Look 44). The unisex shorts feature elongated pockets and one side is cut at a diagonal.
Of course, you’ll recognise the boots. These are the 9 to 5 denim chap boots that Rihanna designed for Manolo Blahnik. The daring shoe boasts a pointed toe, stiletto heel, crystal detail inspired by the singer’s own hand tattoos, and a jewelled buckle. Purchase from Manolo Blahnik’s website for $3,995. Lynn Ban provided the rest of her jewellery.
