On December 17th, Rihanna hosted a Christmas dinner for FentyCorp. FentyCorp is Rihanna’s own company that handles all of her business ventures. She serves as CEO and Ciarra Pardo is Creative Director. The dinner was held at Giorgio Baldi restaurant in Santa Monica where they reportedly dined for six hours. Rih wore a gorgeous red velvet slip dress by Jean Paul Gaultier. The vintage bias frock, which was purchased from Resurrection Vintage, is from the 1990s. It features a deep v neckline, spaghetti straps and black ribbon-covered tassel balls hang from the back. You can take a closer look at the dress in the gallery below.
The Barbadian star paired the dress with a simple pair of sandals by Prada. The metallic silver sandals (pictured below in gold) have one toe strap and an elasticated ankle strap. Upon exiting the restaurant, Rihanna covered up with a jacket by Vetements. The black, grained leather jacket not only sports shearling trim but it is entirely lined with shearling. The stand-up collar is accented by a silver buckle.
The singer’s sunglasses are by Sunday Somewhere, which is no surprise as she’s become quite fond of the accessories brand. She sported their Matahari sunglasses in Brazil, Chile and Paris. This time she opted for the black Pietro shades ($320) that boast round grey lenses and unisex handmade Italian acetate frames. Some of Rihanna’s jewellery was designed by Jacquie Aiche, who happens to be one of her favourite jewellers. Aiche’s muse wore several of the designer’s anklets, a custom diamond body chain and a gold and gemstone knuckle ring set with seven stones. Now let’s talk about that big bow. It’s Silver Spoon Attire‘s hand wrapped headband ($328) that features an oversized velvet bow. The headband is finished with a bit of black ribbon. Finally, her bodyguard carried her Louis Vuitton Twisted Box bag. The handbag was released as part of the limited edition Iconoclasts collection and was designed in collaboration with architect Frank Gehry. The monogram bag gets its name from the curved design and it also has a bright blue interior.
