Last night Rihanna went partying in Los Angeles. She loves off-the-shoulder stuff and she’s really pushing the trend by wearing normal button down shirts in that way. Just a few weeks ago she pulled it off with a Balenciaga top and last night she tried it again with a Vetements shirt.
Rih rocked the brand’s striped button down cotton shirt from the Fall/Winter 2016 collection [Look 4]. Like most Vetements pieces it features elongated sleeves but this one has the phrase “time is money” embroidered on one cuff. SSENSE has it in men’s sizes for $610. The fashion icon paired the shirt with white shorts she designed. The Fenty x Puma fall 2016 shorts have a button front closure. She wore hers with the hem rolled up. These weren’t part of the first drop so stay tuned to Puma’s social media accounts for more release dates.
She also wore shoes by Giuseppe Zanotti. The Sophie, as these are called, is a suede slingback sandal with a crystal-embellished band. Purchase here for $995. Rihanna’s Twisted Box bag by Louis Vuitton is always by her side nowadays. Designed in collaboration with Frank Gehry for the limited edition Celebrating Monogram collection in 2014, it features a curved design and top handle. Her hat is by the rock band Bathory.
Her jewellery included some pieces by Hearts on Fire worth more than $250,000. She sported a three prong diamond necklace and diamond stud earrings. Her ruby and diamond ring is from Harry Kotlar.
She also donned two emerald and diamond rings by Chopard and one of the brand’s Happy Sport Diamantissimo watches. It’s unclear if this is the same version released in 2013, which Forbes reports costs a whopping $1,580,000. That anniversary edition of the Happy Sport watch features more than 900 baguette diamonds and almost 2,000 brilliant cut diamonds totalling 65 carats. By the way, these are the same pieces she wore to the Fenty x Puma pop-up earlier this month.
Update: Rihanna’s 18k yellow gold and white diamond necklace “Don’t Trip” is from Huckleberry Ltd. Get it here for $5,000.
