On Friday night Rihanna attended the opening of Fendi‘s new flagship store on Madison Avenue in New York, which doubled as the official launch of the 3Baguette Project. This charitable project involved several celebrities personalising the new 3Baguette handbag with proceeds from the auction going to their charity of choice. Rihanna designed a 3Baguette and an accompanying Micro Baguette in aid of her Clara Lionel Foundation. Click here to learn more about the auction.
According to US Weekly’s fashion director, Rihanna got to choose some pieces from Fendi’s archives to wear to this event. The singer wore a pink chinchilla fur coat over a bronze python leather dress. Judging by the style of this dress I would say it’s from the early 2000s, maybe 2003. Of course Rihanna carried her own 3Baguette handbag, which is made of black velvet, mink and crocodile leather, with the attached gunmetal Micro Baguette. Click here for a more detailed look at both of them. Rih also wore Manolo Blahnik‘s Chaos ankle-strap sandals in a wine-coloured suede that complemented her dress well. Her earrings included Colette‘s Baby Garras ear cuff and Suel‘s 18k blackened yellow gold and diamond ear cuff.
