Rihanna To Show At London Fashion Week
It’s coming! We finally have a date for Rihanna’s collection for UK brand River Island. After the collaboration was announced last summer fans have been waiting impatiently. Today, River Island revealed that the collection will officially be launched on March 5th, 2013. But fans will get a look at the designs a few weeks earlier since British Vogue says that Rihanna will show the collection during London Fashion Week!
RIHANNA will unveil her River Island collection with a catwalk show during London Fashion Week. The invite-only event will be held on Saturday February 16. “Launching at London Fashion Week is a dream come true for me,” said Rihanna. ” I have wanted to design my own collection for a long time and to present my collection for River Island alongside all of the other great design talent at LFW is a real privilege. I can’t wait to see the reaction from my fans and the fashion press!” (source)

Update: Rihanna has announced that Rihanna for River Island will be carried in the U.S by Opening Ceremony.
Camo Night
Rihanna was spotted leaving a recording studio last night in L.A. She wore a printed maxi dress and black Superstar 2.0 shell-toe sneakers by adidas. She covered up with Norma Kamali‘s camouflage sleeping bag coat (sold out!) that she was first spotted with in November last year. Rihanna also carried a handbag from Tom Ford‘s Spring/Summer 2013 collection. The handbag (pictured above in white) features gold hardware, a cut out handle and a zip going down one side.
Update: According to Rihanna’s stylist Mel Ottenberg her dress was designed by Adam Selman.
Ohio Against The World (Updated)
Rihanna continues to hit up the club scene in Los Angeles. She was spotted leaving My Studio nightclub on January 13th wearing a long-sleeved brick print shirt from Balenciaga‘s Resort 2012 collection, blue jeans and Manolo Blahnik Chaos sandals. Rih also wore OATW (Ohio Against The World)‘s Collier De Chien cap. The leather hat features gold hardware and is inspired by Hermès.
