Rihanna Covers British Vogue November 2011

Rihanna Covers British Vogue November 2011

It’s been a busy year for Rihanna and it doesn’t look like it’s going to slow down any time soon. Just a few months ago, Rihanna snagged her first American Vogue cover and already she’s gracing the cover of British Vogue.

The cover seems to be a modern representation of Marilyn Monroe with Rihanna in a retro-styled blonde wig, a seductive pose and Armani Privé dress from the Autumn/Winter 2011 couture collection. Instead of the expected red lip, they kept the makeup soft and neutral. Check out the original Armani Privé dress below!

I’ll post the pics from the photoshoot as they become available so check back soon!

As promised here are the pictures from Rihanna’s issue of British Vogue. The shoot was styled by Kate Phelan and shot by Alasdair McLellan. The hair was done by Rih’s hairstylist, Ursula Stephen and the makeup was done by MAC Cosmetics.

Denim Jeremy Scott In Belfast

Rihanna seems to be going for a decidedly 90s look for her new album. After releasing a grunge inspired cover for her new single, We Found Love, Rih headed to Northern Ireland to shoot the video. She filmed in a field wearing a red bandana swimsuit and baggy jeans then headed to another area in Belfast. There she wore a denim bra top and skirt from Jeremy Scott Spring/Summer 2012 ready-to-wear and a pair of platform Creepers shoes.

Are you excited for the new era?
