Rihanna Covers Glamour September 2011
Rihanna graces the cover of Glamour magazine’s September issue, which should be on newsstands now. Here’s a breakdown of her styling for the shoot, which was one of the last shoots she did before switching to brown hair.
On the cover, Rihanna is pictured wearing purple sequined leggings and a white top by Dolce & Gabbana, both from the Fall 2011 ready to wear collection.
In the pages of the mag, the star wore several fabulous pieces. A polka dot dress from Marc Jacobs Fall 2011 was styled with black Christian Louboutin Pigalle pumps.
Rihanna also wore an embellished cutout crepe dress by Miu Miu, which can be bought from Net-a-Porter. The dress is inspired by the ’40s but the deep v-neck keeps it modern.
Other designers featured in the photoshoot were Vionnet, Givenchy, Michael Kors and Yves Saint Laurent. Definitely one of the best photoshoots the singer has done so far.
Rihanna’s Linda Farrow Sunglasses
While in London, Miss Rihanna was spotted wearing sunglasses by designer Linda Farrow. She wore the cream snakeskin sunglasses to the Reb’l Fleur launch and to Nozomi Restaurant. The luxe sunnies have a retro feel, which goes perfectly with the current ’60s trend. The sunglasses are avaible at Coggles.com.
Reb’l Fleur Launch In The UK
Rihanna officially launched her first fragrance Reb’l Fleur in the United Kingdom on August 19th, 2011. She chose to wear a teal Antonio Berardi outfit to the event, which was held at House of Fraser.
The feathered halter top and loose fitting pants were accessorised with large gold earrings by Susan Caplan, a vintage Chanel bracelet, voluminous hair and a pair of Rihanna’s favourite shoes, the nude Christian Louboutin Pigalle 100 pumps.
