After cancelling her tour date in Nice, France after the deadly attack Rihanna retreated to Monaco. On July 16th the singer and her crew spent a night out at a restaurant. John Galliano designed this draped cocktail dress for Dior around the year 2000. The pink chiffon dress features thin straps, puckered rosette detail and an asymmetrical hem. Rihanna has been collecting killer vintage for a few years and she sported another amazing Dior by Galliano dress last month.
Earlier that day Rih posed with some young fans on the beach. Her seaside look included a dress by Melissa Odabash.
Rihanna donned Odabash’s saffron floral lace short beach dress. It boasts thin straps and a low back. Her shoes are by René Caovilla and anyone who’s been reading this blog for a long time should recognise them immediately. That’s because Rihanna loves the black version of the pearl- and bow-embellished Venus sandals. She first wore the black ones in Barbados for a charity event in 2013 and then on vacation in St. Barts a year later. These nude ones are a newer version that you can purchase from Net-a-Porter for $1,090.
The trendsetter accessorised with a pair of Gucci sunglasses. She wore this style to Coachella earlier this year. The square frames are covered in grey rhinestones and Gucci’s interlocking G logo is visible at the temple. Purchase here for $1,190.
