Rihanna Debuts New Rihanna x Manolo Blahnik Fur Boots
On June 23rd Rihanna dined in London with her best friend and younger brothers. She was in the city for the Anti World Tour show at Wembley Stadium the next night. Everyone wondered where she got these incredible fur boots in the midst of summer and I can confirm that they are Rihanna x Manolo. Badgalriri herself told me on Instagram that she designed the boots for Manolo Blahnik. The pointed-toe boots boast a stiletto heel, back zip closure and a floral pattern. The first collection (available now on manoloblahnik.com) was very well-received so it’s good to know more great shoes are coming. There is no release date yet but it’s safe to assume these will be released in the fall. Here’s what else she wore.
Rih rocked Vetements‘ slightly-controversial Snoop Dogg tee backwards. The t-shirt, which bears a photo from Snoop’s nineties tour merch, made headlines earlier this year for its high price-tag of $924. When asked about the tee in an interview with Hypebeast, the rapper was surprised by its existence and questioned the cost. Regardless of the steep price, the shirt sold out everywhere but it’s up for pre-order at stefaniamode.com for $920. Also note that Rihanna wore the brand’s Snoop Dogg boots in the photo shoot for Anti.
She carried Louis Vuitton‘s twisted box bag from the limited edition Celebrating Monogram collection launched in 2014. The small bag was co-designed by architect Frank Gehry and features a curved shape, a top handle and a blue monogrammed interior. Rihanna also wore one of Jacquie Aiche‘s custom cameo rings. These one-of-a-kind rings consist of vintage cameos set in a pavé diamond band. You can purchase similar rings from the designer’s website for $3,125.
