Rihanna Attends Lanvin Fall 2014
Shortly after hitting up the Balmain FW2014 presentation [link] Rihanna and Mel Ottenberg were spotted at Lanvin‘s show. Rihanna changed up quite a bit about her look. Not only did she wear an outfit from Lanvin’s pre-Fall 2014 collection but she also sported a shorter wig with blunt bangs, a boyish look that suited the outfit well.
Riri’s look included a brown fedora,a grey pant suit and black brogues. The jacket features Alber Elbaz’s signature flawless draping while the pants are actually tailored sweats (so good!). The interesting thing about the grey fur stole is the fact that it slips over the entire body but Rih seemed to have no problems manoeuvering. Rihanna Kicked Off Paris Fashion Week In Balmain
As the face of Balmain‘s Spring/Summer 2014 ad campaign everyone expected Rihanna to attend Olivier Rousteing’s latest showing during Paris Fashion Week. Although Rihanna missed the models strutting down the catwalk she did show her love for the brand in a look from the pre-fall 2014 collection. The Balmain fall collections offered plenty of safari chic but for a younger, tougher generation.
Rihanna’s stylist Mel Ottenberg chose the sixth look for this event – a quilted army green parka over a matching belted leather jacket with a knee-length wrap skirt. Gold accents included a Melody Ehsani Farsi nameplate necklace, Elise Dray‘s coiling snake ring in plain yellow gold and Sabine G’s gold and white diamond Medieval ring. Rihanna Performed In Alexandre Vauthier
Drake’s fans were pleasantly surprised a few days ago when Rihanna joined him on stage at the Bercy arena in Paris. Rih performed her hit Pour It Up and the two came together for their first live performance of Take Care. While both singers were dressed in white, Rihanna’s outfit was pulled straight from Alexandre Vauthier‘s Spring/Summer 2014 ready-to-wear collection. The white jacket and pants feature graphic gold and black stripes that go perfectly with the white and gold sandals. Her gold spiked choker is from the Vauthier Spring 2014 couture collection.
