After attending Christian Dior’s Fall/Winter 2015 repeat show in Tokyo earlier this week, Rihanna took some time out of her busy schedule to spend an entire day out and about Japan’s capital. She was accompanied by Baby Mary (left) who runs Faline, which is one of Shibuya’s coolest stores, and Mademoiselle Yulia, a famous DJ and fashion designer in Japan.
With tour guides like these it’s no doubt that Rihanna got to see the very best of Tokyo fashion while she was there. They spent most of their day in the world-renowned section of Shibuya known as Harajuku. Read on to find out what Rihanna wore on the day and to see a few items she picked up. And as usual, you can take a closer look at individual items at the end of the post.
In this shot Rihanna poses with Yulia on the steps leading to Dog, one of Harajuku’s best stores. She wore a vintage t-shirt with black jeans and Dior sunglasses. The shades are from the Pre-Fall 2015 collection and feature clear frames and a metallic bridge.
Here we get a better look at the sunglasses as well as her Dior Gourmande earrings from the Jardin de Milly-la-Forêt collection, which are made of 18k white gold and aquamarines. These are the same earrings she wore to the fashion show the day before. In addition, she sported a rholodite garnet and white diamond ring by Ivy New York.
While in Shibuya, Rih picked up a new iPhone 6 case from Giza‘s collaboration with NaNa-NaNa. The black case boasts a drawing of a woman’s legs in red pumps and it’s available on their website for ¥4,860. You can also shop Giza products in the US at Wild Style LA. Giza is Yulia’s clothing and accessories line and Rihanna has been a supporter for years. You may recall that she wore a few pieces from the brand’s collaboration with Joyrich back in 2013.
Rih also paid a visit to Faline where Baby Mary reigns supreme. She tried on an adorable hat by Maison Michel. It’s their Bibi Yoko hat and this version is made of straw and features a black felt brim, pink and white striped ears and a cute matching bow. Unfortunately, this hat is currently not available online.
Update: In this other photo posted to Baby Mary’s account, the Bajan beauty checks out a crew neck sweatshirt from Faline’s collaboration with Fafi. This limited edition sweatshirt bears original anime artwork by Fafi and it’s available to purchase in Japan for 円20,000. You can also spot a Dior initials ring on her right hand.
