At midnight Rihanna released her newest music video for the single Bitch Better Have My Money. The video was co-directed by the singer herself and the duo Megaforce. As we were warned in advance, BBHMM is filled with violence and nudity but it all fit with the theme of the video, which is a cheeky take on Rihanna’s past accountant troubles. Watch the video above if you haven’t done so already or read on below to find out what she wore.
Rihanna was styled by Mel Ottenberg and his team and as usual they did a stellar job capturing the right aesthetic for a video like this. A big thank you goes to his team for these exclusive details. In the video things really get going when Rihanna kidnaps “the wife” in an elevator. She mentioned on Instagram that the trunk is vintage Goyard. She wore the following:
Firstly, the coat is from Ulyana Sergeenko‘s Spring 2015 couture collection. The pinstripe coat is ankle-length with a floral print that goes around the bust and sleeves. It also has two front pockets and a button closure. Underneath she sported Adam Selman‘s Spring/Summer 2015 logo tee. You know Rih couldn’t do a video without honouring her favourite designer in some way. Her patent leather thigh-high boots are from Vetements‘ Spring 2015 collection.
This particular outfit was all about Fall 2015. The Bajan beauty rocked Tom Ford‘s Fall/Winter 2015 patchwork fur coat that comes in different shades of blue, a knee-length denim skirt with a frayed hem, and the same patchwork denim knee-high boots from the runway. The black bustier is by Maison Cadolle, a French lingerie brand, and just peaking out underneath that is an orange bra from Maison Margiela‘s Fall 2015 collection.

The transparent coat is from Wanda Nylon‘s Fall/Winter 2015 collection and is trimmed in white Mongolian lamb fur. Rihanna’s corset is by Cadolle. The corset is made of pale green reseda silk and trimmed with purple fur. Her shoes are Maison Margiela Fall 2015 and feature a PVC tongue and a chunky heel cased in clear perspex.
The pop star wore a few latex headbands by Vex Clothing. Vex was created by Laura Petrielli-Pulice in 1997. You may remember her from Rihanna’s reality show Styled To Rock where she placed second. Her top in this scene is from Maison Margiela‘s Fall 2015 collection. It’s sheer with with fur trim along the sleeves and hem.

Rih once again donned the latex headbands by Vex Clothing in addition to sunglasses by Christian Dior. These are the French brand’s My Dior sunglasses. This version of the sunnies was released in 2014 and features blue frames with pink rubber handles. You can purchase similar shades below.

The suit is from Stella McCartney‘s Fall/Winter 2015 collection. I couldn’t help but note that this is the second look she wears in the video that was modelled by Binx Walton on the runway. The suit is belted at the waist with a notched lapel and two flap pockets. The amazing black and white fur stole is from Marc Jacobs‘ Fall 2015 collection.
Obviously, this is another Vex Clothing creation. It’s their tank dress that comes in a multiple colours. Rihanna wore the transparent nude version, which might be a bit much for the average person but she’s bold enough to pull it off. This look also included a pair of the brand’s wristlet gloves.
And we’re nearing the end! Rihanna took a stroll after finishing her “work” wearing heels from Marc Jacobs‘ Fall 2015 collection. The lace-up shoes have a thick heel and those laces wrap right around the ankle.
In the chilling final shot of the music video Rihanna wears nothing but blood and a few vintage necklaces from Camilla Dietz Bergeron. Visit her website to learn more.
