Lucky Number 7

Lucky Number 7

Rihanna has a reason to be obsessed with the number seven. The pop star has been building anticipation for her upcoming seventh studio album over the past few weeks and this morning she released the album cover for Unapologetic around 7am PST (check it out below). So it’s no surprise that she chose to wear Topshop‘s knitted 7 motif jumper last night in Los Angeles. Rih also wore yet another pair of Air Jordan sneakers. This time it was the Olympic edition of the Air Jordan 1 Phat.

What do you think about the album cover? Mylah Morales used MAC‘s Smoked Purple on Rihanna and it really works with the intensity of her gaze.

Chucks And Camo

Rihanna had a late studio session last night. She wore a t-shirt and jeans and covered up in a camo parka. This is Elizabeth and James‘ Rollins parka from the Fall/Winter 2012 collection and features a fox fur hood. The camouflage version is exclusively available at Barneys. She also wore Converse high top sneakers in black monochrome. Rih carried Louis Vuitton‘s TGM Monogram Rayure Neverfull handbag. This bag was released in November 2011 as part of the Cruise 2012 collection.

Your Fortune Awaits

After the iHeartRadio festival Rihanna shared this photo of her fabulous red manicure. The gel polish was Red Carpet Manicure‘s Your Fortune Awaits and was applied by her manicurist Kimmie Kyees. The limited edition red polish costs $5000 and includes four carats of actual ruby dust, hence the price. Luckily, Red Carpet Manicure has released a consumer version called Draped In Rubies, which became available at Ulta Beauty Stores on October 1st.

This is not the first time that Rihanna has worn one of the RCM’s limited edition polishes. Rih wore their Amor 24 polish to the 2012 Grammy Awards. That polish contained an ounce of 24k gold and was also worth $5000. Despite the hefty price on these polishes RCM is actually well-known for providing at at-home gel polish kits for the average woman.
