Rihanna and Eminem took The Monster Tour to New Jersey on August 16th. Rih stormed the stage at the MetLife Stadium in a Mötley Crüe ‘Shout at the Devil’ raglan tee with the sleeves cut off. Click here to see a similar t-shirt. Hers is a vintage t-shirt sourced from Christian Benner. Further continuing with the classic rock theme of the tour, she sported some acid wash, black jeans by Tripp NYC that were adorned with an AC/DC patch. The bleached bondage jeans are also embellished with zips, crosses and plaid suspenders. While these particular jeans aren’t available online, you can view a similar pair at Trash & Vaudeville. Her stylist Mel Ottenberg completed the look with white Dr. Martens Jadon platform combat boots. The boots are available at Urban Outfitters for $170.
Her jewelry for the entire show consisted of an emerald cut silhouette ring by Fallon and several items by Lynn Ban. These Lynn Ban pieces included two coil cuffs, two chevron cuffs and a cross ring.
The Monster Tour look was pulled from Seo’s Antwerp Royal Academy of Fine Arts Master of Arts graduate collection, which was centred around the theme of ‘school kills’. The look comprised a white bucket hat, a red jacket, a sheer, crystal-embellished bra and a PVC skirt. The skirt was customised for the tour and featured several patches bearing the words killer, shady and role model. Click here for a closer look at the skirt. I have a feeling Rih and Seo will be collaborating a lot in the future. Rihanna’s shoes for this look were New Balance 574 sneakers in white with black and grey accents.
