ANTI World Tour: Rihanna Meets Fans, Part I

Rihanna Miu Miu Noir havana cat eye sunglasses, Fenty x Puma Fall 2016 graphic sweatshirt

Rihanna is going to be on tour for most of the year and while she doesn’t have any official “meet and greet” packages on the ANTI World Tour (click here to check out her tour costumes), she has been meeting up with a few lucky fans backstage and outside of venues. In this series we’ll be discussing the outfits she wears after the shows. So let’s take a look at what she’s worn so far.

Rihanna Miu Miu Noir havana cat eye sunglasses, Fenty x Puma Fall 2016 graphic sweatshirtAfter the first show in Jacksonville, Florida on March 12th, Rihanna posed with a few fans backstage. She wore a pair of Miu Miu‘s Noir sunglasses and a Fenty x Puma Fall 2016 top.

The Noir is a cat-eye style with matte havana frames, delicate metal hardware and gradient lenses. You can purchase the sunglasses here for $415. The exact sweatshirt Rihanna sported was not featured on the Fenty x Puma runway but a hooded version with lace-up detail was included [Look 30]. Both feature a graphic on the front with Japanese letters and a Gothic number 13 on one sleeve. Pieces from this collection will be available from and selected retailers from September.

Rihanna wearing Anti World Tour Anti-High hoodieThe next night the tour made a stop in Tampa. There Rihanna encountered Brazilian soccer star Kaka (left) and a few fans. This time she wore merchandise from her own tour! This is the Anti-High hoodie in black and it features an “Anti Class of ’16” graphic on the back. The Anti Class of 16′ is a series of photos from a Paolo Roversi shoot Rihanna did back in December 2014. The photo shoot, which has been used to promote the album, was styled by i-D magazine’s fashion director, Alistair McKimm. Another set of photos is also included in the official tour book. More on that shoot in another post soon. Currently only a web exclusive camo version of the drawstring, pullover hoodie ($50) is available from Rihanna’s official store so you’ll have to go see the tour if you want to get the black one.

Rihanna LA Roxx leather bodysuit, Y/Project custom pantsOn March 15th the ANTI World Tour arrived in Miami where Drake surprised everyone in attendance by joining Rih on stage to perform their single, Work, which is currently sitting at number one on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart for the fifth week in a row. After the show the Barbadian entertainer decided to stay in the final look from the tour. This costume consists of a custom leather bodysuit by LA Roxx and a custom brown pantsuit by Y/Project. Here she was holding her newest cousin and next to her is her cousin/goddaughter.

Rihanna X-girl black logo twill capThe final outfit we’ll look at in this post is the one from the tour stop in Cincinatti, Ohio on March 19th. There Rihanna had a blast backstage with devoted fan Nick Gallo (check his Twitter account for more photos and a super cute video). That night Rih donned a black twill cap by X-girl, a Japanese streetwear brand. The snapback hat features green accents and is embroidered with the brand’s logo. Unfortunately, the cap is currently sold out at VFiles and Opening Ceremony and it’s not listed on their official website but hopefully there will be a restock soon.

Rihanna X-girl black logo cap, Puma x Bape camo coat, Fenty x Puma black Trainer sneakersIn the above photo we get to see Rih’s entire outfit. She wore a dark camo coat from Puma‘s popular collaboration with BAPE (aka A Bathing Ape). That collection was so highly-anticipated that it sold out almost immediately.

The coat boasts one of BAPE‘s signature camouflage prints that features their ape logo mixed in, BAPE FC patches and a hood. She also rocked Puma‘s Icon sweatpants that have the brand’s logo across one leg. She completed the look with the sneakers that she designed for Fenty x Puma. These are the Trainer sneakers in black that have a reflective Puma formstripe at the sides. Unfortunately, these shoes are sold out pretty much everywhere online so it’s best to try your luck in store.
