Rihanna was spotted at Coachella on the second night of the popular music festival with her best friend and several members of her team. She was photographed in the crowd with Courtney Love moments before Guns N Roses’ headlining performance and she also attended Neon Carnival. Last night Rih was styled by Jahleel Weaver and she sported some pieces from a few of her favourite designers. Here’s a look at what she wore.
The Barbadian beauty wore a vintage distressed sweatshirt by Harley-Davidson. The black crewneck top bears the motorcycle brand’s logo on the front and flames on the sleeves. Rih got this one from What Goes Around Comes Around. You can purchase a similar sweatshirt here for $26. Rih hiked up the long-sleeved tee to show off the rare vintage crystal belt by Chanel around her waist. Apparently the belt dates back to the iconic French label’s Spring 1995 collection. It features an interlocking CC buckle and hook closure. You can also wear the belt as a necklace. Rih got hers from Depuis 1924 and you can order one from their website for $1,800. Rihanna’s jewellery included a cameo necklace by Lynn Ban and a custom choker by Fallon. Fallon designer Dana Lorenz gave Haus of Rihanna a pic of the custom piece and I’ve got more details on it below.
As mentioned earlier Rihanna was also spotted at Neon Festival. She was photographed chatting with her friend Leonardo Dicaprio, who is a Coachella regular. Thanks to these photos we got a look at a few more of her accessories.
Her custom Fallon bandana choker was made using a vintage Hermès scarf and it’s adorned with crystals set in a chantilly lace pattern. Rih has been supporting Fallon since the beginning and is madly in love with their chokers so I’m sure we’ll see her in more styles as the year progresses. While you won’t be able to get this exact choker, you can still check out the brand’s Monarch bandana choker ($160) for a similar look. The songstress also rocked a couple of Lynn Ban’s custom initial rings. The white gold and pavé white diamond rings represent her first and last name, Robyn Fenty.
Finally, Rih wore a pair of Gucci‘s Spring 2016 rhinestone-embellished sunglasses. I’ve included a photo of the tortoiseshell version but the square shades are available in two other colours from Gucci’s website – grey and black.
