Rihanna popped up unexpectedly at a Cricket World Cup match in England on July 1. She was there to support the West Indies team, who lost unfortunately, and to reunite with their assistant coach Roddy Estwick. Estwick worked as a physical education teacher and cricket coach for many years at Combermere School, Rih’s alma mater. In a touching Instagram Story post, she noted that he was one of her first mentors and supporters.
The Look
Ms. Fenty wore some Fenty. The look included a pair of techno mask sunglasses in brownsberry ($420). The shades have a metallic purple frame, reflective nylon lenses, branded tips and gold stud detail.
Count on Rihanna to rock a denim mini dress as a jacket. She sported Fenty’s corset mini dress in white ($810), which features branded buttons, elongated sleeves, and darts that create a cinched waist and rounded look.
The singer rocked white high-rise wide leg jeans by Maison Margiela. The jeans feature a five pocket design, subtle panels at the front and back as well as minimal stud detail. Sold out online at most places, Yoox has a few sizes left for the reduced price of $286.
Rih completed her white outfit with a pair of Nike‘s Air Force 1 sneakers ($90). The classic shoe has a rubber sole and leather upper with perforated detail. The brand’s iconic swoosh logo is visible at the sides while a silver “AF1” tag is attached to the laces.
Update: She also donned a cross pendant necklace by Hanut Singh. The cross boasts rock crystal, diamonds and red enamel.
