Rihanna made a surprise appearance at Drake’s OVO Fest in Toronto last night. She’s currently on the European leg of the Anti World Tour so that was quite a detour. She joined Drake onstage to perform Too Good for the first time as well as some of her other hits. Jahleel Weaver styled Rihanna and he shared the above photo. Here’s what she wore:Both of those bright orange pieces are from menswear collections. Let’s talk about the coat first. Fengchen Wang is an emerging designer who burst onto the menswear scene after being featured in the VFILES Spring 2016 collection. The orange coat Rihanna wore is from her Spring 2017 collection [Look 14]. The billowing coat features silver hardware and lots of drawstring pulls. The Barbadian beauty’s boots are from Vetements‘ Spring 2017 menswear collection [Look 31]. The shiny shoes, designed in collaboration with Manolo Blahnik, reach all the way to the waist but can be folded down for a thigh-high look. They boast a thick heel and pointed toe.
You may be wondering about her top. Weaver informed me that it is vintage Azzedine Alaïa. The black denim bustier top dates back to 1991 and has a halter neck, a completely open back and contrast stitching. Rih’s shades are vintage Dior and Lynn Ban provided all of her jewellery.
