There is a Fenty pop-up shop at The Webster in New York City from June 19 – 30th. Pieces from both Release 5-19 and Release 6-19 are available to purchase. On the 18th, press and specially-invited guests turned up for a preview of the collection and a chance to talk with Rihanna and Fenty style director Jahleel Weaver. Weaver also serves as Rihanna’s stylist and he chose some amazing pieces for her to wear that night.
The Look
Of course, Rihanna wore some of the new pieces from Release 6-19. She rocked the Fenty techno mask sunglasses in iridescent ($420). The shield sunglasses feature gold metal frames, iridescent nylon lenses and gold stud details. There is also a logo on the lens and on the tips.
The Barbadian mogul also wore the drawstring plain satin mini dress in fuchsia ($560). This dress brings to mind early to mid-2000s fashion, which is very on trend. The short frock has thin, adjustable spaghetti straps, a self-tie at the left side as well as a drawstring that can be adjusted to suit your needs. The other side has a zip closure.
Rihanna’s shoes are also Fenty but these were not released in the June drop.
The star is now a fan of Medea handbags. This time she selected their short bag in white crocodile-embossed leather. The small calfskin bag features two top handles, magnetic button fastenings and a removable shoulder strap. It is sold-out on the brand’s official website.
How eye-catching are these earrings? These are David Webb‘s Grand Girandole earrings that are worth a cool $585,000. The 18k yellow gold and platinum earrings boast hexagonal cabochon amethyst, cabochon emeralds, fire opals, and turquoise. There are also set with pear, marquise, and brilliant-cut diamonds.
On her right hand you’ll spot Webb’s Aquamarine Stud Cuff ($145,000). The 18k yellow gold and platinum cuff features a large rectangular aquamarine, white diamonds and white enamel.
Two of the superstar’s rings are also David Webb pieces. First, there is this hammered 18k yellow gold and platinum ring set with brilliant-cut white diamonds.
She also donned the Cubist ring ($54,000), which boasts a rectangular aquamarine at the centre of a polished 18k yellow gold, white enamel and platinum ring. It also features pavé white diamonds.
In honour of Fenty’s debut at The Webster, jeweller Maison Raksha gave Rihanna two custom necklaces. Each gold and pavé diamond necklace represents one of Fenty’s official logos. Visit the brand’s official Instagram Account for more information.
Rihanna’s other jewellery included a vintage cuff by Verdura and a vintage white diamond bracelet from Camilla Dietz Bergeron.
