The highly-awaited Puma by Rihanna Fur Slides (also known as Leadcat Fenty) dropped today and pandemonium ensued. Stores and websites were bombarded as soon as the shoes were released and very few pairs are still remaining. At the time of writing this post, all three colours were sold out on Puma.com (but I suggest you stay tuned for restocks), Madison Style and Villa but a few sizes were available at the following sites:
- Nordstrom (one size left in black or white)
- Opening Ceremony (few sizes left in white)
- Little Burgundy (for Canadians, all sizes and colours available)
- Lady Footlocker (all colours on back order)
- Rise (limited numbers set to be released at 12pm EST)
- Colette (some sizes in white)
Don’t forget to check your local athletic shoe stores to see if they will be carrying the slides. Now on to the shoot! Rihanna was styled by Tom Van Dorpe, who just worked with the singer on her newest Rihanna x Stance campaign. I couldn’t find everything that she wore but here’s a look at the few things I did identify.
In this photo Rih rocked one of Puma‘s No 1 logo tank tops in black (similar pictured and available here for $15), the brand’s white cat logo crew socks ($11.50) and the black Fur Slides. If you want a bomber jacket similar to Rihanna’s, check out this one by Rothco (from $37).
In this shot she wore two pieces from Area‘s Spring/Summer 2016 collection with the shell pink Fur Slides. Both the blouse and dress are made of textured silk.
Finally she posed in the white Fur Slides while wearing a Juan Carlos Obando Spring 2016 dress [Look 14]. The satin racerback dress features raw edge trim at the scoopneck and armholes and along the three high slits (two at the sides, one at the back). You can purchase it from Barneys for $1,495.
Update: Her sunglasses are Pawaka‘s Empat 4 style with white frames and green lenses. Order here for €350.
