Alastair McKimm styled Rihanna and Mario Sorrenti shot the beautiful black and white cover and editorial. Yusef Williams and Andrea “Naphia” White did her hair. Kanako Takase worked on makeup and Rih’s longtime manicurist, Jenny Longworth, did her nails.
Of course, Fenty featured in the shoot. Rih sported a few unreleased black pieces – a zip front jacket, baggy pants and a nylon coat. She also wore a black hoodie that is very similar to the rounded cutout hoodie ($400).
Next Rihanna rocked a hooded nylon poncho and pants by Vetements. Both pieces are from the Spring/Summer 2020 collection [Look 40].
In that shot she also wore a pair of Fenty’s black patent leather Power Point pumps ($660). The shoes have a pointed toe and curved heel.
Additionally, she wore an a-line dress from Melitta Baumeister‘s Spring/Summer 2020 collection [Look 20]. It features thin straps and a v neckline. Rafaello & Co designed the diamond ankh necklace she wore throughout the shoot.
In a couple photos Rihanna sported two Rick Owens pieces – a sleeveless v-neck t-shirt ($245) and wide leg trousers ($1,040). The pants have a drawstring waist as well as a front zipper, cargo pockets and stud detail.
The Barbadian native rocked a few more pieces by Vetements in the photoshoot. She wore the padded bomber jacket and supersized trousers from Look 43.
And lastly, she wore the black “Bose” t-shirt from Look 46.
