Rihanna headlined Made In America festival in Philadelphia last night. Styled by Mel Ottenberg, Rih killed her Anti World Tour setlist while wearing two olive green outfits. Thanks to Alexa Lanza, Ottenberg’s styling assistant, I’ve got the info on what the Barbadian entertainer wore.
Rihanna’s first outfit should look familiar since it’s the green version of the opening look from Anti World Tour. Click here for all the details on her regular tour outfits. Craig Green designed the ribbon-embellished hooded jacket and Adam Selman created the short-sleeved romper.
Giuseppe Zanotti designed these ruched canvas chap boots for Rihanna. Above is the original off-white colour but the new version appears acid green under the stage lights. Anyone who watched the show via live stream couldn’t miss the singer’s jewellery. Rafaello & Co provided the diamond ankh necklace while the pavé diamond choker came from Jacob & Co. Those were used during two MTV Video Music Awards performances. Pieces from Harry Kotlar and Le Vian completed the look. Update: Added photos of the Kotlar and Le Vian pieces thanks to D’Orazio PR.
Unfortunately, we didn’t get any high quality photos of the second outfit. So here’s a video of Rihanna singing the sleeper hit Needed Me last night. Rihanna kept the same jewellery mentioned above. Alexa told me that the oversized army look is made of vintage pieces that she found.
Rih rocked the vintage with Supreme‘s sold-out olive camp cap. It boasts the brand’s logo on the front and a brown embossed leather strap. You’ll have to hit up eBay if you want one for yourself. The brown leather belt is from Prada. Purchase here for $440.
Rih rocked a pair of lace-up sandals with gold hardware from Alexandre Vauthier‘s Fall 2016 couture collection. The sunglasses are vintage Jean Paul Gaultier. It seems like Gaultier is the go-to for killer vintage shades. This 56-0001 style features oval lenses and an engraved frame.
