Rihanna celebrated the arrival of a new year in Barbados with her friends and family. In a new Instagram post we got a full view of her metallic ensemble. According to the “bad gal”, she’ll be applying pressure all year. Let’s see what she has in store for us.
The Look
The gorgeous singer paired a metallic bikini top with Dries Van Noten‘s lamé maxi skirt. The silver and gold skirt features beautiful draping and a slit.
We all know how much she loves shoe designer Amina Muaddi. So much so that she collaborated with Muaddi on two capsule collections for Fenty. Before that Rih wore Mauddi’s own designs as well as her creations for Alexandre Vauthier. Now the talented designer has teamed up with A$AP Rocky’s AWGE and of course, Rihanna had to get a pair.
The Barbadian beauty rocked the LSD Gladi, a thigh-high gladiator sandal covered in crystals. The satin shoes feature Muaddi’s signature sculptural heel. Purchase at FRWD*. There’s also a knee-high version* available for $1,510. Also note there are versions out there of the same shoe with white, black or rainbow crystals.
She also sported a peridot ring by Elizabeth Gage on her right hand. It’s the same one she wore in a recent Instagram video. Although this ring is no longer available online, one of my followers informed me that the ring previously cost about $15,000. The 18k gold ring features an oval peridot of 8.64 carats and six brilliant cut diamonds. It’s also covered in green enamel.
