Rihanna stars in yet another campaign for Savage X Fenty. This time it’s a red hot collage for the brand’s 2021 Valentine’s Day collection. The singer looks amazing in lacy lingerie and latex.
Dennis Leupold shot the photos while Jahleel Weaver styled two looks with assistance from Amir Dayi. Yusef Williams styled her hair and Priscilla Ono did her makeup.
As mentioned earlier Rihanna wore two different Savage X Fenty looks in the photoshoot. In one set of photos she wore two pieces from the new “Candy Hearts” Xtra VIP box. These are the mesh halter cami and the open-back skirt, which laces up like a corset. The box also comes with a set of lace gloves.
In the other set of photos, Rihanna donned the V-Day mock neck fishnet slip that has cut outs in the back. It’s made of a super-stretchy material that allows for a perfect fit for multiple body types and sizes.
Under that is the “Candy Hearts” bralette. It’s unlined and features lace inspired by the actual heart candy. There is a heart-shaped charm where the straps meet in the back that reads “Do Me”.
The business mogul rocked the matching “Candy Hearts” lace g-string. The red thong has the same heart-shaped charm at the back.
The last of the Savage X pieces is this “Candy Hearts” lace garter. It has adjustable straps and rose gold hardware. Right at the front is that not-so-subtle heart charm. Many of the aforementioned pieces also come in black if red is not your thing.
In all the photos she sported latex opera gloves by Atsuko Kudo (pictured here in pink). She wore the same gloves in the previous winter campaign. I’m sensing a theme here. The gloves are handmade and come in an array of colours.
Additionally, she rocked their latex stockings. Also available in multiple colours, these stockings come with holes in the soles for added comfort and hold-up tabs for your garters.
The Jewels
Now let’s talk jewellery. Rih sported two necklaces by Hammerman. One is an 18kt yellow gold necklace with four rows of rubies and three rows of brilliant-cut diamonds. Price available upon request.
The other necklace is a chandelier-inspired piece. It features marquise and brilliant-cut diamonds and stunning pear-shaped pigeon blood rubies. Price available upon request.
Rihanna also wore several art deco pieces by Lang Antiques. First is this cocktail ring that features rubies in a hexagon shape as well as mine-cut diamonds.
The singer rocked a “bombe” ring set with white diamonds and rubies. At the centre is a large cabochon ruby weighing 4.05 carats.
This bracelet boasts a mix of round and baguette diamonds set in platinum. The geometric bracelet also features rubies carved with a leaf design.
The second bracelet is a platinum piece from the 1930s set with a mix of European-cut, single-cut and baguete diamonds.
The third bracelet is another platinum piece set with white diamonds and carved rubies. It has a kind of crisscross design and a pavé diamond clasp.
Finally, she wore a red enamel cuff by Feng J. From the “Coeur Rouge” collection (that’s French for red heart), the jagged bangle features rubies and sapphires.
