Rihanna attended Yams Day 2020 in Brooklyn, New York on January 17. Yams Day is an annual concert held in honor of Yams from A$AP Mob, who passed away five years ago. Proceeds from the concert go towards a charitable foundation. While there, Rihanna posed for some cute pics backstage.
Rih’s love affair with Mastermind continues. She wore a black leather and shearling jacket from the Fall/Winter 2019 collection. The hooded jacket features a cream shearling lining, a zip front closure and two pockets. It also has an oversized fit with drop shoulders and elongated sleeves. Like many Mastermind pieces, the brand’s skull and crossbones logo is visible on the back. This time it’s made of shearling.
Rihanna has added yet another emerging label to her ever-expanding wardrobe. She sported a sheer mesh top by Scent, a Mexican brand. The top, which is exclusively sold at Opening Ceremony, is called the Thunder Second Skin. That’s because it boasts an all-over lightning print and fits close to the body.
The superstar paired the top with a black leather mini skirt from her own luxury clothing line, Fenty. The short skirt has sculpting seams down the front and back and an invisible zipper.
These boots are so good! They’re Prada‘s Monolith boots, which feature a chunky sole. The black lace-up boots come with pouches attached that you could use to hold some essentials on a night out. Unfortunately, these bad boys are currently sold-out online.
Her jewellery included an antique rock crystal cross pendant from Kentshire. She also donned a pavé diamond Cuban link choker and an ankh pendant necklace from Rafaello & Co. These Rafaello & Co pieces date back to the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards.
