Fenty Beauty sponsored the “Face” category at the 2019 Miyake Mugler Porcelain Ball on October 12 in NYC and also provided a $10,000 prize. Rihanna previously attended the ball back in 2014 and her hairstylist Yusef Williams supports it as well. So of course, Rihanna had to be there and serve as a judge for the category. Styled by Jahleel Weaver, she showed up and showed out in a body-hugging white dress.
Australian designer Alex Perry is a new addition to Rihanna’s ever-expanding closet. The mogul sported a white strapless vinyl dress ($1,700) from Perry’s Resort 2020 collection. The ruched midi dress has a zip closure running down the back.
There must be a little Fenty in every ‘fit, right? Well, she wore a custom white leather pair of the brand’s “T-heel” sandals (pictured in grey). The mules have a square toe, a 4 inch heel and leather-lined straps. Head over to Fenty’s website to check out this style in grey, black and holographic. Judging by previous releases, the white version may very well be available in an upcoming drop so stay tuned.
Her sunglasses are from Alexander Wang‘s Fall/Winter 2019 collection. Designed in collaboration with Korean eyewear brand Gentle Monster, the clear version of the M.PRI$$ shades, features silver metallic snakes wrapped around the frame. There is also a black and gold version. Unfortunately, the sunnies appear to be sold out online.
Riri’s love affair with Chrome Hearts continues. She’s been a fan of the brand for several years. This time she donned a diamond cross pendant as well as a white crocodile leather handbag with a cross-shaped clasp.
Around her neck is a white gold and diamond choker by Shay. The essential pavé link choker ($46,200) comes in four colours and features 15.8cts of pavé white diamonds. It’s adjustable so you can rock it as a choker like Rih did or as a necklace.
Update: In addition to the necklace, she sported two of the brand’s mini pavé link anklets in white gold ($10,080 each). The anklets are adjustable and feature 1.98cts of diamonds.
Rih also sported three rings by Loree Rodkin, two of which are pictured here. She wore her favourie pavé white diamond double R ring and a diamond “F You” ring. The other ring is an art deco-inspired lace ring.Update: She also rocked a single hoop earring by Loree Rodkin in her left ear. It features a teardrop diamond dangling from a hoop. The earring is sold as a pair.
Her watch is from Chopard‘s “Happy Sport” collection. It has a set of loose diamonds that move freely around the face. Contact the brand about price and availability.
Update: The final anklet is from Jacquie Aiche. It’s their Double Lizzy anklet in 14k rose gold and diamonds. It costs $21,250 and you should contact the brand if you are interested in purchasing.
Update: both of her bracelets as well as the stud earrings are all vintage from Camilla Dietz Bergeron. Of these only one bracelet is signed and reads “Original Gems, Inc”.
