Rihanna has two lovely covers for Vogue Brazil’s May 2014 issue, which also happens to be the 39th anniversary issue of the magazine. Click here to revisit that post. Now let’s take a look at what she wore for the accompanying editorial that was shot by Mariano Vivanco and styled by Yasmine Sterea. According to the magazine, Rihanna was involved in every step of the process – from choosing locations to the shoot’s theme (modern-day Carmen Miranda).
Rihanna looks stunning in a silk scarf by Hermès. Her bold earrings and and gold bangles are by Italian jewellers, Talento. She is also wearing rings and finger bracelets by Jacquie Aiche, which I’ve outlined at the end of this post.
In this photo Rihanna wears a straw hat with a huge brim by Otávio Giora and printed shorts from Wagner Kallieno’s Fall/Winter 2014 collection. Her jewellery includes a delicate necklace by Francesca Romana Diana and large hoop earrings by Turpin.
In the above photo you can spy some of Rihanna’s Jacquie Aiche rings. She is also wearing high-waisted bikini bottoms by Adriana Degreas (click here to view some of her swimwear) and a printed silk scarf by Hermès.
Rihanna stares longingly in a multicoloured bustier by Marita de Dirceu, who is known in the fashion industry for her brilliant corsets (visit Marita’s website). Here Rihanna’s jewelry consists of a Jacquie Aiche starburst ear jacket and bangles by Turpin.
Next Rihanna strikes a pose before a graffiti’d wall in a black, white and red Hermès scarf and a gorgeous gem-embroidered skirt by Burberry Prorsum. The Spring/Summer 2014 pencil skirt consists of light-reflecting crystals against a nude mesh material. It’s available from Burberry’s website for a whopping $14,500.
Rihanna struts her stuff in a beautiful bomber jacket from Marni‘s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. The beaded jacket is embellished with sequins and embroidered with three-dimensional hand-cut stones. Get it at Net-a-Porter ($9,150). The rest of this look includes high-cut black bikini bottoms by Amir Slama and chain-embellished black sandals by Schutz (visit their online store).
Here Rihanna poses in a simple black bandeau top by Jo de Mer. We last saw her in this brand during her promotional campaign with the Barbados Tourism Authority. Check out some of their swimwear at Nancy Meyer. She is also wearing an embroidered circle skirt with black wasitband from Fausto Puglisi‘s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. While that skirt isn’t available online, this one from the same collection is absolutely killer.
Smiling and happy. That’s the way we all love to see Rihanna. Here she rocks a white top with red polka dots from Burberry Prorsum‘s Spring/Summer 2014 collection. You can purchase the button down blouse ($595) or get this print in a scoop neck t-shirt ($295).
The penultimate shot of Rihanna sees her standing in the forest wearing a lovely gold skirt by Dolce & Gabanna. The metallic mini skirt is embossed with a vine print. Get it from Barneys for $1,545.
Rihanna is smoking hot in Linda Farrow round blinker sunglasses (similar pair available here – $730) and a sheer embroidered gown by Patricia Bonaldi (visit the designer’s website). Her metallic gold sandals are by Schutz ($85).
Throughout the shoot Rihanna wears several pieces by Jacquie Aiche, who is one of the singer’s favourite jewellery designers. These include a 14k gold large starburst ear jacket with pavé diamonds ($1,250), a triangle finger bracelet, a three diamond finger bracelet ($715) and a 13 diamond shaker finger bracelet ($2,465) with a matching belly chain. She also wore several rings by the designer, notably a two-finger solid knuckle ring, a moonstone double pyramid ring ($2,365), a 4-moonstone knuckle ring, a leaf wrap ring with white diamonds, an adorable gold bunny ring ($1,375) and a beautiful teardrop ring with lapis and crysoprase gemstones ($3795). You can take a closer look at some of these pieces below.
