Rihanna had three separate covers and editorials for Vogue Paris‘ December 2017 issue. Inez & Vinoodh shot one of the editorials and Mel Ottenberg styled it. Of course, Ottenberg is Rih’s longtime stylist and she frequently collaborates with Inez & Vinoodh. Put all three together and you get a really stunning photoshoot. Let’s see what she wore.
On the cover the superstar sports a white lace dress from Dior‘s Resort 2018 collection. It has “Christian Dior” branding on the straps. Pictured here is a similar dress from the runway show.
Remember the “Needed Me” music video? Rosamosario designed that sheer, billowy robe that Rihanna wore. The brand also custom made these high-waisted satin and chiffon bloomers with corseted details in the back just for this Vogue Paris shoot. Check out this video posted on their Instagram about the making of the bloomers. In this photo (and throughout the shoot) Rih also wears a pair of Dior patent leather ankle-strap pumps with a kitten heel. The bracelet is a vintage piece from Camilla Dietz Bergeron.
Here she is effortlessly sexy in a Céline silk and lace dress from the Spring/Summer 2016 collection [Look 1]. The watch is one of Chopard‘s white gold “Happy Diamonds” watches.
Above Rihanna wears a feather bandeau top from Adam Selman‘s Spring 2018 collection. The pants are Maryam Nassir Zadeh‘s Spring 2018 Eva capris and the belt is Altuzarra.
Next we have Rihanna in a cashmere sweater and a wool and cotton mini skirt with a slit. Both pieces are from the Hermès Resort 2018 collection.
In this shot the Barbadian wears a custom Ralph & Russo strapless bodysuit with ruffles and back lacing.
Riri sports a Y/Project oversized cardigan from the Spring 2018 collection with a Prada belt and a Hermès mini skirt.
In this photo Rihanna wears a rib knit sweater by Emporio Armani that has a distressed neckline. She also wears the same Maryam Nassir Zadeh pants mentioned earlier as well as an oversize belt ($1,570) by Ann Demeulemeester. The black calf leather belt has a silver buckle.
This penultimate shot sees Rih in a silk trench coat from Bottega Veneta‘s Spring 2018 collection [Look 38] and a vintage belt from Early Halloween.
And Rih ends it all with a gorgeous silk jacquard dress from Dior‘s Resort 2018 collection. The print includes the phrase “Christian Dior Sauvage” and pictures of buffalo and bulls.
