This is the last of the three editorials Rihanna had for Vogue Paris’ December 2017 issue. This time around she worked with photographer Juergen Teller who had been waiting for this moment for a long time. Anastasia Barbieri and Bernhard Willhelm styled the shoot, which is an eclectic mix of patterns and textures. Click through the Vogue Paris 2017 tag for the other photoshoots.
On the cover and in one photo inside Rihanna wears a Miu Miu Fall 2017 oversized faux fur coat with vintage Emilio Pucci leggings from the 1960s. Pucci is best known for the colorful prints and this is a great example. The yellow jersey bodysuit is Faith Connexion.
The terry cloth turban is another Pucci piece. This time from the Spring 2018 collection and it features a parrot print according to the magazine. The orange chain strap sandals are Missoni Spring 2018. Iradj Moini designed her crystal and pearl earrings. These are exclusively available at the Ciro pour Burma boutique in Paris.
Here she sports a silk tulle dress from Molly Goddard‘s Fall/Winter 2017 collection [Look 29].
Rih also rocks a pair of drop earrings from Lydia Courteille‘s Sweet and Sour collection with oversized sunglasses from Pucci‘s Spring 2018 collection. Her shoes are a pair of Stella McCartney‘s faux leather Eclypse sneakers ($506). This version features velcro straps and and a suede upper.
Next we have Rihanna in two of Dior‘s Diorette lacquer rings inspired by Christian Dior’s garden in Milly-la-Forêt. The first one features 18k white gold, aquamarine, amethyst, pink and yellow sapphires and tsavorite garnet. The second one boasts 18k yellow gold, amethyst, Mandarin garnet, pink sapphire and tsavorite garnet.
In this shot Rihanna wears a layered PVC and faux fur coat and a crystal belt by Calvin Klein. The black and white leggings are vintage Leg Avenue while the pink lace gloves are Nina Ricci.
She also rocks a pair of polka dot pony hair pumps by Manolo Blahnik and a ring by Harumi Klossowska de Rola. It’s the white lioness ring from the Panthera Leo Kugeri collection. That metal hand is an accessory by Y/Project meant to be clipped onto a belt. It’s from the Fall 2017 collection.
This black lace dress is a really interesting piece by Dolce & Gabbana. It has a round neck, long sleeves and a faux fur tiger shawl. Her feathery red sandals are Prada. The carnival-inspired shoes have an ankle strap and a thick heel. The necklace is Roberto Cavalli, the tights are Missoni and the rings are Dior. Two of those rings are the Diorette ones mentioned earlier while the one pictured here is a Milly Carnivora “Egratigna Chipie” ring. Made of 18k white gold, it boasts diamonds, spinels and lacquer.
Next Rihanna poses in a red cashmere tracksuit from Marc Jacobs‘ Fall 2017 collection [Look 41]. The jacket has a front zip closure and a kangaoroo pocket while the pants have zip pockets. Both pieces feature black and gold stripes.
She also wears a leopard print faux fur coat by Balenciaga (similar pictured.) Her foot rests on a few of the brand’s XL Bazar shopper totes from the Resort 2018 collection that feature cities like Hong Kong and New York. Her necklaces are a shell and fur talisman necklace ($753) by Prada and a vintage charm necklace by Chantal Thomass. The multicolored crescent-shaped piece worn cross body is a belt by Bernhard Willhelm.
In this shot the singer wears a leather patchwork coat with fringe from Dior‘s Resort 2018 collection [Look 49]. Under that is a Pucci Fall 2017 jumpsuit.
Her shoes are Prada. The yellow satin pumps (pictured above in purple) are embellished with a crystal brooch. Rih also sports a pair of Lydia Courteille‘s Thunderbird earrings from the Rainbow Warriors collection.
Next she dons an oversize straw hat from Jacquemus‘ Spring 2018 collection. The designer calls it “Le Chapeau Bomba”. She also wears a pair of tourmaline and diamond earrings by Chopard and the Harumi Klossowska de Rola ring mentioned earlier.
This final look is a mix of men’s streetwear and high fashion. The zebra print trench coat is Roberto Cavalli Spring 2018. Rihanna loves emerging designers so Wales Bonner was a good choice. The black and white fur cap is from the brand’s Fall 2017 menswear collection.
The leopard print jacket and pants are from a streetwear brand called Sankuanz. Visit their website to check out their Spring 2018 collection, which includes these pieces. Again Rih wears a crescent-shaped belt by Bernhard Willhelm but this time in a zebra print. The shoes are the same Manolo Blahnik pumps mentioned earlier.
