Rihanna Finally Covers Vogue Paris

Rihanna Vogue Paris magazine cover shot by Juergen Teller

Rihanna finally has a Vogue Paris cover! She has multiple Vogue US and British Vogue covers and one Vogue Italy cover but it looked like a Vogue Paris cover would not happen. So with these three (yes, three!) Vogue Paris covers for the December 2017 issue she has officially covered the so-called “big four” of Vogue magazine. This issue is super special since Rihanna is the guest editor and different renowned photographers shot each cover and editorial. So that’s three Rihanna photoshoots for one magazine!

The Covers

Rihanna Vogue Paris magazine cover shot by Juergen TellerI’m a huge fan of Juergen Teller and was so disappointed when he missed an opportunity to work with her. So I’m beyond happy that he finally did a photoshoot with her and for such a prestigious magazine. Anastasia Barbieri styled this shoot and on the cover Rihanna wears some vintage Emilio Pucci and Faith Connexion. Rihanna’s longtime hairstylist Yusef Williams worked on hair, her New York-based manicurist Maria Salandra did nails and Yadim did the makeup.

Rihanna Vogue Paris magazine cover shot by Inez & VinoodhPhotography duo Inez & Vinoodh shot the second cover. They work with the superstar often, most recently on the Fenty Beauty campaign. They also love working with Rihanna’s longtime stylist Mel Ottenberg and he styled this Vogue Paris spread. Here Rihanna wears Dior Resort 2018. Yusef Williams did her hair, Stephane Marais did makeup and Maria Salandra did the nails.

Rihanna Vogue Paris magazine cover shot by Jean Paul GoudeFinally, we have this French girl-inspired cover shot by Jean Paul Goude. It’s so cool that each cover clearly reflects the individual photographer’s aesthetic. The stylist on this shoot was Aleksandra Woroniecka, Vogue Paris fashion director. The glam team included Yusef Williams on hair, Stephane Marais on makeup and Rihanna’s UK-based manicurist Jenny Longworth on nails.

Look out for the fashion credits for all three photoshoots when the magazine hits newsstands on December 1.
