Rihanna hit up another recording studio last night in New York. Photographers spotted the singer arriving at the studio after it was confirmed that she will be headlining next year’s Super Bowl. Rih kept it casual in a black ensemble featuring a few vintage pieces.
The Look
Let’s start with one of those vintage pieces. Rih sported a jacket from Raf Simon‘s Fall/Winter 2000 collection. The bomber jacket features an orange lining, flap pockets and several patches on the chest and sleeve. One of the patches reads “The Hydesville Castle Community”.
If this jacket seems a little familiar, that’s because she wore it to a promotional event in 2015. I believe the 2015 jacket was on loan but it seems Rih has procured another one for her personal archives.
I can’t remember the last time Rihanna wore an item with such regularity. She absolutely loves to toss on this R13 cap with many of her more casual looks. The baseball cap features the brand’s logo embroidered on the front and a velcro strap at the back.
That quilted purple duffel bag is a vintage piece from Chanel. It’s mostly from a 1990 collection. It has a top zip closure as well as a side pocket and two top handles. “Chanel” is emblazoned in block letters across both sides of the bag.
The mogul donned a pair of adidas “Samba Classic” sneakers. These have been her go-to sneakers for a while. She wears hers with neon laces. The sneakers have the brand’s super recognizable stripes on the sides in black.
Not pictured are Rih’s Balenciaga logo sweatpants and her dollar sign tee is from A$AP Rocky‘s merch.
