Rihanna spent a few days in New York to celebrate her goddaughter’s birthday then she jetted off to Switzerland to check out Art Basel. Photographers caught up with her at JFK airport on June 12 just before her departure. Rih looked incredibly chic in a plain black tee and what can only be described as wide leg sweatpants.
That amazing wide leg pant is by Dries Van Noten. The Habium pant ($384), as it is called, features a drawstring waist, slit pockets at the sides and one back pocket.
Thanks to one lucky shot that showed the back of her shoes, I can tell you that she wore a pair of Prada‘s classic pumps ($750). Made of neoprene fabric, the shoes feature a pointed toe and stiletto heel.
The Barbadian beauty’s outfit got that extra special Fenty touch with the Blockt mask sunglasses in black smoke ($480). The oversized sunglasses have a gold-tone frame, black lenses and stud detail. The Fenty logo is visible at the temples and at the tips.
One of my Instagram followers pointed out to me recently that this necklace Rihanna loves is by John Hardy. It’s the 18k yellow gold Modern Chain necklace with pavé white diamonds. The medium size necklace costs $39,000 and features a chevron pattern and 2.00 total diamond carat weight.
Rihanna’s bodyguard Rich carried her jacket and handbag. The jacket is actually a leather padded shirt ($4,500) by Balenciaga. The semi-transparent shirt has dropped shoulders and a cotton twill lining. It also has a slightly oversize fit.
Dior‘s oblique monogram book tote has been a favourite of Rihanna’s ever since its release. The singer’s name is even embroidered on the bag. It’s also available in red. Contact Dior to order.
