After a busy day promoting Home on Good Morning America and on Snapchat, Rihanna was photographed out and about New York City. The singer wore a pink velour tracksuit by Sean John. The jacket has a high collar, long sleeves, front pockets and a zip closure while the pants have an elasticated waistband. The brand’s script logo is visible in white on both pieces. These suits were everywhere in the early 2000s and celebrities like Paris Hilton are credited with proliferating the trend. Kanye West has also been seen in a velour tracksuit so don’t be surprised if this trend is revived.
Rihanna also carried Dior‘s new Diorama handbag. As you know, today she was officially named as the new face of their Secret Garden video series and print campaign. The Diorama flap bag, which retails for $6,300, has an adjustable chain handle and a tuck lock closure. The bag also features the French label’s Cannage pattern in white with yellow accents.
But you probably want to get to those sick boots. These are DEGEN‘s Antibody boots, which were once available at VFILES. DEGEN is a brand that has been on my radar recently so I was quite happy to see Rih is these shoes. The 3″ wedge boots have a 2″ yellow platform sole, an upper made of brown leather and clear plastic and curly pink laces. Although this exact style is sold out, you can shop other styles from DEGEN’s online shop and at SoleStruck. The brains behind the brand belong to Lindsay Degen who started designing crazy platform shoes in 2013 in collaboration with Converse. DEGEN is also known for its funky knitwear and baby clothes. Click here to learn more. Finally, she wore a pair of Givenchy‘s Seventeen shield sunglasses in black. The sold-out shades feature nylon grey rimless lenses and twisted handles bearing the brand’s logo.
