Rihanna Visits Ponza In Charlie by MZ And NLP Swimwear
Rihanna’s Italian vacation continued yesterday as the singer went snorkelling near old pirate caves off the coast of Ponza. Rih chose a neoprene bikini by N.L.P, a womenswear label founded by Nikki Lee Penny in 2012. The brand produces sporty yet sexy swimwear made of neoprene and rubber. This particular bikini (pictured below in purple) is from the brand’s Spring/Summer 2015 collection and consists of a yellow halter top with yellow and orange bottoms, all outlined in black.
I contacted N.L.P who informed me that the 2015 lookbook will be online in just a few weeks and the entire collection will be available in store and online in late September and October. You should sign up for their newsletter to be the first to know when the collection hits stores. You can also shop the current collection on their official website, at Nasty Gal and Revolve.
Rihanna returned to her yacht and posted a few photos of her wearing a custom bikini from Charlie by Matthew Zink. Matthew Zink actually hinted about this collaboration three months ago on Instagram and we finally got to see the result. The swimsuit is a customised version of the Adriana mixed orchid and burnt orange string bikini, from the Spring/Summer 2014 collection. Swarovski crystals were applied to the front of the top and bottom in a similar pattern to the Crystal Deco bikinis that Rih has worn in the past. The original Adriana string bikini is currently on sale for a reduced price of $95.
